It started with a slab of walnut and a wild idea.
A few years ago, our mom picked up a piece of live-edge wood at a local mill in Cleveland and said, I want to make something beautiful out of this. She had always been the kind of person who could build anything - the one who would be right next to Dad to help fix things around the house, who sketched designs on napkins, who saw potential in raw materials that most people walked right past.
That first project was a mess. Epoxy everywhere. Sanding for days. But when the resin cured and the grain caught the light - something clicked. She was hooked.
A Families Partnership
What started as a hobby in Moms home workshop quickly became something bigger. Her son John - the business mind of the operation - saw what she was creating and knew other people needed to see it too. He jumped in to handle the other side: pricing, operations, the website you are reading right now, and the strategy to grow Wood Fusion Creations from a garage project into a real business.
That is who we are. Mom builds. John builds the business. Dad, Jalissa, Alissha also pitch in where needed. She is in the workshop pouring resin and shaping hardwood. He is behind the scenes making sure every piece finds the right home. It is a true partnership - and every piece we sell carries a of our fingerprints.
We are not a factory. We are not dropshipping someone elses work. We are a family, working out of Ohio, making things we are proud to put our name on.
The Craft Behind Every Piece
Every item in our shop is made by hand - one at a time, start to finish. We source premium hardwoods like walnut, oak, cherry, and maple, then pair them with hand-poured epoxy resin in colors and patterns that make each piece completely unique. No molds. No mass production. No two pieces are ever the same.
Cleveland Proud
We are from Northeast Ohio and we do not hide it. You will find pieces in our shop featuring the 216 area code, Cleveland skyline designs, and Browns-themed creations. This city is part of who we are, and we love building pieces that let other Clevelanders show their pride too.
